Irish Innovation Seed Fund Makes First Allocation

Launched in 2022, the Irish Innovation Seed Fund (IISF) program is a €90 million ‘fund-of-funds.’ It provides investment capital to fund managers who, in turn, find and invest in early-stage companies. The Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment has announced that the first allocation from the IISF has been made to WakeUp Capital.

WakeUp Capital makes clean energy and environmentally focused investments such as innovative technology, agriculture solutions, waste treatment, and services and technologies supporting financial inclusion. WakeUp Capital is targeting a fund of up to €50 million to support eligible start-ups.
